Wealth Is Worthless When It Comes To Judgement Day

“Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.” Proverbs 11:4

The more I read these quotes about money and wealth, the more I realize that it is so important that we submit our finances to God, and that we make sure we know where our true wealth is.

The above verse says, “Wealth is Worthless in the day of wrath”. It really doesn’t get any plainer than that. Righteousness through Jesus Christ is the only way to be delivered from death.

Far too many people decide to chase fulfillment and contentment via money or things, and it’s such a pointless venture. They may find fleeting happiness or momentary glimpses of love and happiness, but it will only be a poor substitute for the real thing found in Jesus Christ.

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10
