“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:9-12
This verse to me talks about how much our heavenly father cares for us, and how he wants to lavish is gifts upon us, if we’ll only ask. Don’t be afraid to ask God for things in prayer, because often he’ll be willing give to you generously.
In addition to asking God for thing in prayer, always be on the lookout for ways to help others, and to treat them with care and respect, as you would want to be treated. If you can do that you’ll be on your way to treating others as Jesus would.

Hi.
I just found your site and I love it! However, I noticed that you don’t list the Book or chapter of your Bible verses. Would you consider providing that, and I like to go back to the reference and read the chapter as a whole. Thanks!

I normally do list the citation for the verse, but must have forgotten this time because it was from my daily reading plan. oops! Added it now!
