This site has been live for almost 10 years now, and in that time I’ve written quite a bit about our main niche topic, the Bible and money.
We’ve had articles about giving, prayer, tithing, greed, contentment as well as hard work and stewardship. We’ve covered a pretty wide array of topics, and I’m sure we’ll continue to.
One thing I’ve never done, however, is put together a comprehensive listing of important Bible verses that relate to our financial lives. I’ve done a lot of one off articles about certain topics, but never put a large number of bible verses about money in one place. Today we’re going to rectify that.

Bible Verses About Money
The Bible has a lot to say about money, wealth, greed, contentment and a variety of other topics as they pertain to our financial and spiritual lives. Over the years I’ve heard it said more than once that the Bible has well over 2000 verses about money.
While I won’t be able to list all 2000+ verses here, I want to give a selection of verses in a variety of topic areas.
Topics: Wealth | Contentment | Giving | Greed | Debt | Ethics | Work & Laziness | Rest | Rest | Planning | Saving | Stewardship | Guidance | God’s Provision | Worry | True Wealth
Bible Verses About Putting Your Hope In Your Wealth
Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
Matthew 19:21-26 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first
Mark 4:19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.
Proverbs 23:4-5 Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.
James 5:1-6 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.
Proverbs 11:28 He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf.
Luke 8:14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.
Proverbs 11:4 Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
1 Timothy 6:17-19 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world nor the things in the world If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
Psalms 49:10-12 For he sees that even wise men die; the stupid and the senseless alike perish and leave their wealth to others. Their inner thought is that their houses are forever and their dwelling places to all generations; they have called their lands after their own names. But man in his pomp will not endure; he is like the beasts that perish.
Psalm 62:10 ..if riches increase, do not set your heart on them

Bible Verses About Contentment
Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
1 Timothy 6:6-12 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
2 Cor. 12:9-10 “And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness” …Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the LORD leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble.

Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Bible Verses About Stewardship
1 Timothy 6:17-19 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
Matthew 25:14-30 Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Luke 12:47-48 The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

I like this one that you listed about contentment: (Philippians 4:11-13) Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
Peter Anderson says
That verse is one of my favorites, it really speaks to how we have the choice to be content – no matter what we’re going through – jut by trusting in Him “who strengthens me”.

Money, is the root of all evil. How about the lack of money being the root of all evil?
Kevin L says
Maybe you’re right, money is the root of evil but people today cannot live without money.
Evaana says
The Bible says ” the LOVE of money is the root of all evil” this is true when you are rich or poor.
Ben says
For the love of money is the root of all evil…….
Pastor Basnight says
Money Is not the root to all evil. Money is an object, it cant be good or bad. People do evil things with objects.
Or in the case of money the bible clearly lets us know that what people will do to get it is evil. Not the money.
That’s why the bible says the love of it is the root to all evil.
1Timothy 6:10…. Several Translations
King James Bible
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
New Living Translation
For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
English Standard Version
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Hello Peter,
Truly a blessing to have paused and taken a look at this list tonite – I NEEDED to regroup and trying my BEST to re-focus on my faith and confidence in the Lord Jesus. I seem to be sliding backwards no matter how hard I try to move ahead as a single woman (no dependents) with just an average salary.
This sudden increase in debt has caused great aggravation and feelings of defeat (yes, I have went to the Word and prayed..), and I’m trying to shake it quick. Hope you will read (and readers) and help stand in agreement with my mental strength. THANKS!

Some of these verses about worry helped me a lot. I’ll write them down and I’ll repeat them to myself when I’m anxious. Thank you! These encouraging bible verses also gave me a motivation when I lacked it

I love Jesus. I faced and am still facing lot of problems in life, from childhood I have seen lot of violence in my house. My dad is an extreme alcoholic and has been verbally, as well as physically, abusive to my mom – my sis and myself – and his own parents as well. There hasn’t been a single day in my home when I could say there was peace. My dad thinks of himself as a very holy and righteous man. He left the Catholic church on the pretext that it is not of God. He speaks about Christ a lot but hasn’t changed or attempted to follow Christ by his deeds. He is always judgmental about people and believes that we all will go to hell except him. He talks about right and wrong but has never done anything right. Over the years we felt it was just his alcohol but recently he has done something which makes me wonder if its the alcohol or that’s just the kind of person he is. He cheated my fiance for money which I never thought my father would have ever done. My father had promised me he will do the best for us, but when money came his colors changed. My fiance doesn’t know yet for sure if my father has cheated him. My father has been cheated in the past by many people with money and so I thought, he will never do such a thing. Its more like stabbing a person quietly. When I confronted my father and told him what he is doing is wrong, and that he is taking advantage of a simple man, my father argues and tells me even an outsider would do so, and there is nothing wrong in it. I know I can’t do anything about it now except make my fiance aware, which I will. Yes I have to pay for my fathers sins and I will do that once I have enough money to pay back. But I am still unable to understand that someone can talk about Christ and yet do so much bad. It just feels like satan is operating via him to disgrace our lord.
I needed to post this so that people, if ever you lose faith in Christ due to anyone or any reason, you should know that the world is filled with evil. Evil, if not judged today, it will be judged someday. We can’t stop loving Christ for the pain we got or because evil is still getting its way. Trust me I have faced really bad times and still am facing each day. I have had so many failures in life even after hard work and sometimes have been so disheartened because nothing went right. Even today my life isn’t how most people I know have but there are people who have even more problems, yet they choose to love and trust him. And when Christ being God himself could suffer and take so much pain for us, I think we should at least trust him and believe he will give us the strength. When you are suffering just thank God cause he felt you can handle it. This has been my first post ever, I don’t want to judge the catholic church or any group. I just have one belief Jesus is Christ and try your best to follow the bible. He loves each of us and will keep giving us chances till we are alive even if we are bad he will. But yes, we cant say we love him and do everything that’s against him. I pray my father changes and realizes what wrong he has done before its too late. Please pray for him that he changes and also for me and my family and every person facing such situations so that God gives us all strength to keep our faith in him. And pray for every person who has turned their back to the Lord. The devil wants to take as many souls as he can. But we have to fight him for our Lord. Praise the Lord Almighty Jesus Christ. Amen
Peter Anderson says
Nina, I’m so sorry for your situation, it certainly seems like you’re stuck in a hard place where your father’s behavior has been so awful for so long, that it’s almost impossible to figure out how to deal with him after all this time. It certainly is a huge violation of trust for him to be taking money from your fiance – and I’m sure your fiance is feeling betrayed as well – who can you trust if you can’t trust family?
In the end he’s not only hurting you and your family, but he’s hurting himself, and he’s obviously thinking about himself first and not of others in his family.
The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy. Proverbs 12:22
Thankfully we have a heavenly father that we can depend on no matter what circumstances we’re in. He loves us no matter what we’ve done, and always puts our needs first. We can run to Him in prayer, and he will be there to comfort us.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3
I’ve already prayed for you and your family, as well as your father – that God’s will would be done through this situation, and that your father would see the error of his ways.
Here’s another post that might help as you’re going through hard times.
Bible Verses To Help In Hard Times
Rhonda says
I read your post and it was very poignant. You have been through a lot and I will continue to pray for you and your family. Life is hard, but GOD is good. I’m sure your dad has meant well over the years, but obviously he has experienced a lot of pain, otherwise he wouldn’t have acted what you’ve expressed in your post… God always has a good plan, even though we don’t understand sometimes. We just have to trust in Him and set the example to follow in His footprints daily. Everything is in God’s timing and that’s always the better time. Remember: Flowers can’t grow without dirt. Again, I pray for peace in your family, especially your father. Your father sounds a lot like mine as far as trying to find peace along his life’s journey. Philippines 4:13. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHOM GIVES ME STRENGTH. Hang in there and never cease to pray. There are a lot of others in this world that need Jesus. We are all sinners and in need of Him. Prayers from here to you, my friend!!! <

Thank you for the time you took to put these verses together. We are going to use them tonight in our Book study/Bible study on English as a Second Language in France. We are going through some parables of Jesus and tonight is on the Manager’s dishonesty with his Master’s money. I thought these other verses would be great for them to read on their own to see what else the Bible has to say about money.

Glad you found them helpful Carol!

I was wondering why the Bible says that we need only food and raiment (clothes) as far as physical needs to be content. Obviously we need water too, and maybe medical help, and what about housing?
By doing a word search in my SwordSearcher software, it seems that the only definition of raiment is clothes, not “covering” which could mean house too. All the context I read so far of the many raiment verses, easily is clothing in meaning.
People can’t survive in certain climates & landscapes without housing. I know people need far less housing than they prefer to live in, but no housing is necessary for contentment? Or does it mean no home of our own, that sharing with other homeowners is fine, no reason to be unhappy, if the person is happy to share their home with us? 1 Titus 6:8 has been driving me crazy for years. I want to teach wives that they can be happy with their husband’s low income or irregular income, even if it means losing their house because of his problems with income and spending. I heard of one woman who was divorcing her husband to save her financial situation….idolatry I think. Worshiping money more than the God who tells us that divorce is adultery. I need to study more about God’s Word on money, to help wives love their husbands even through financial idiocy. I learned to stop all money arguing 100% a year ago, when I gave up my money idolatry. I am willing now to be homeless or live in whatever home my husband will provide. So glad he isn’t that dumb financially, but I had to be willing to give it all up, unlike the rich young ruler, so that I could not complain about the checking account or debt balances or groceries, or fix it needs around the home, etc. What freedom, not caring about lifestyle enough to complain anymore. He is very thankful for this change, but he must budget with me wisely, or handle the bills all on his own so I don’t have to tell him bad news. I won’t enable anymore. I had to give up the bills Nov 2013 to help him see his need to budget with me, so he did ask me for help, but didn’t do what he said, so I had to warn again that I’m about to quit the bills again if we don’t budget together like a good team. I really truly don’t care more about the finances as much as his feelings, so I want to be a good news wife, and I can’t participate in things that force me to give him bad news. I want to tell other wives that they don’t need to keep their home if it is at risk, that their home is not physical, but in reality is their marriage, per Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

you’re a far cry for 2,000 money verses here. I don’t believe that is true. Often in the Bible, giving, etc. is not about money. Clearly, tithing is OT. Even Billy Graham believes that.

I have enjoyed this web page on Bible verses about money. I was looking for some information for an essay in Theology 104. When I start reading the different verses I did not want to stop. I have read most of the reply’s. My heart and pray go out to the young lady with the situation with her father abusive and taking money that do not belong to him. In spite of, she is keeping the faith. I know she is a woman that love and fear God. When God is with us, who can be against us. I have the website in writing and I will continue to read it daily. Thanks, and may God forever bless you.
Mary J Randall says
Hi, for the 3rd time, I am getting out of debt by being in DA and reading various books including the Bible, God’s word. Several years ago I almost died in a hospital in Hawaii after living overseas in the Marshall islands. I woke up in the hospital in late March 2010 and was changed not just physically but spiritually. I know that God is real. He is not dead or made up but real.
My sister, Debbie called me and asked me to come to Idaho where she would be my attendant. I agreed and was medevac May 25, 2010 and sent to a rehab facility here in Idaho where I continued to learn how to walk. My best physical therapist I ever had was my sister’s first grandchild who helped me learn how to walk by imitating him. He was one and I saw how he dragged himself off the floor and got on his feet and took his first steps. He made walking fun.
I lost my job and had to recover. We all moved into a apartment and I kept improving. The following year our mother died and we flew to Mobile, AL and found a mess. We had problems with the insurance policy that mom had with the US government. If you work for the US government, you have a policy for $30,000.00 but what they don’t tell you when you retire is that the policy goes down in value the longer you live. The funeral home wanted over $12,000 and I was on Social Security Disability and so I went to the bank and found a change of address, theft, fraud, forgery from april 2010 – March 2011 and I was never contacted even though I was on my mother’s bank account that was covered by a Durable Power of Attorney.
I contacted the bank which was a joke and have since found out that they have a thief working for them but no one seems to give a damn. I found this out in Aug/Sept 2011 when I traveled back to Mobile, AL to get our family’s things plus my stuff in storage. The 3 women involved in the theft plus at the bank did not give a damn but the great part was that I visited the church where my mother went to for service and the preacher spoke to the congregation about reading the Bible everyday, a chapter of the Old Testament, a chapter of the New Testament and a chapter of Psalms. That made me want to go back to the hotel and read the first chapters of the Bible. I also added a chapter of Proverbs each day. I have gotten so much out of it. I am now ready to read tomorrow if the good Lord lets me the first chapter of Nahum. This is gotten me so interested in ancient history of the Bible. I want to know if there are any capital cities or other cities mentioned in the Bible that are still in existence. I have also started reading Catherine Ponder books that I have been able to read for free on my kindle from Amazon.com. I also realize that God is my source not people are things and have been writing down verses in the Bible and in other books that speak to me in other books in notebooks. God speaks to us but sometimes we are so caught up in our lives and things that we do not listen. From reading God’s Word, I know that God is real and he loves each of us. He gives me hope to be free from debt and problems of life if I step closer to God. Thank you for sharing this quotes about money from the Bible. Some I have read are very familiar.
I am on Social Security Disability and I realized recently that God has provided for me even though I can not get food stamps and have been in debt from $33,000 to less then $25,000. The good Lord provides if we let him. Have a great day and thank you for sharing these verses.

Today I visited your site regarding God’s word on money. It is powerful and I thank God you were obedient in putting up scriptures that relate to what God says about money and related areas. I have messed up in this area and I am moving forward to clean up my act and do things God’s way and not just be a hearer of His word and do what it says in this area. I have a lot of debt and this is not pleasing in God’s sight. Your site has help me today.

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Money in and of itself is innocuous it’s the spirit behind the money (devil in the details). The spirit is what influences people to do good or bad with the money. We are in control, we decide what we will do with money. This is our free will.
Scott Swisher says
Thank you for your great work. But, why is it that websites like yours never mention Luke 6:38: Give and it will be given to you…. Or whatever a man shall sow, that he shall reap. Or are those under the mantra of “giving to get?”
Also, there is the verse, He that hath pity on the poor lendeth to the Lord, and the Lord will repay him again. Oops, I forget that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants,(that He may establish his covenant.) Givers establish his covenant and are duly compensated for the cheerful giving.

I think it’s like winning the lottery getting a job. They are not easy to get or come by. I try not to over work myself but, I do the best I can to keep it. It pays my bills, put’s food on the plate & I can buy gifts for others. I think everlasting life is worth more than a pot of gold. I thank God everyday for Jesus that died for our sins. With out his love there is no way to the father & heaven & everlasting life.

Hey Peter good seeing you. Do you recall seeing any scriptures that a man should have
two income?
Thanks God bless.
Peter Anderson says
I’m not sure if there are verses specifically about having two incomes, but there are verses about diversifying your holdings, and planning ahead for risk.
Ecclesiastes 11:2 Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.
Proverbs 13:16 A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesn’t, and even brags about it!

Haven’t read your article “Bible Verses About Money: What Does The Bible Have To Say About Our Financial Lives?” in all its detail, so you may have already mentioned a gem in Proverbs. Proverbs is full of Proverbs, but it also contains at least one beautiful prayer – Proverbs 30:7-9 . I prefer the GNT – Good News Translation. ” I ask you, God, to let me have two things before I die: keep me from lying, and let me be neither rich nor poor. So give me only as much food as I need. If I have more, I might say that I do not need you. But if I am poor, I might steal and bring disgrace on my God.”

Benard Kilonzo says
Very good Biblical contents that almost touches every part of human life under the sun.It is very clear that nothing that has come from the world which has power to rescue human souls from the graves of sin and torments of itself.
IT IS ONLY JESUS,”THE WAY” “THE TRUTH” and THE LIFE(john 14:6).
FOR SO GOD LOVED THE WORLD SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND THE ONLY SON THAT WHOEVER BEALIVETH IN HIM WILL NOT PERISH……BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE(john 3:16).

I appreciate all of this information about debt and money I’ve been a Christian for 43 years. You don’t hear things but the only thing we owe is to be good to each other and we don’t serve money at all if we serve God to deny one is deny the other it’s good to reaffirm these things that they understand my place in this world is not the of this world you’re so easy to be misled by the marketplace if we need to follow God’s word especially now in these times people living like there’s no tomorrow I know there’s going to be a tomorrow and I hear after it or forever there’s God Jesus Christ the holy Spirit what am I to do that’s true become poor and die if so so be it I will be with God
Eldred De Beer says
Sorry but this is not scriptural and misleading. No offence but it is because of teaching like this that we as Christians don’t have dominion over the land God entrusted to us. How can you have dominion without wealth? How can you spread the Gospel without wealth? Your intentions are good but mislead. The Bible clearly states that it is NOT money that brings you to a fall but the LOVE thereof. Money is ONLY a tool God uses to spread His Word. It should only reside in your hand and not your heart. There are MANY scriptures about wealth, prosperity and land acquisition brought on by covenants with God. This is always left out as scriptures are misconstrued. The righteous, humble and blessed shall possess land. How do you possess land without wealth? It is doctrine like this that paralyses God’s purpose for us. We borrow and rent from the unrighteous and apply for loans to buy property. We should be lenders NOT borrowers. We are blessed and made righteous through Christ but we do not claim our heritage through covenants in place. This is demonic not NOT Godly. Believing that wealth and prosperity is not Godly is exactly what Satan uses to prevent the spread of the Gospel.

I don’t understand how this is misleading? It’s Bible verses from the Bible and not misconstructed.
Luke 10:19 (ESV)
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
There are many more scriptures in the Bible that uses the word “dominion”.
Money does not give you power or dominion, Dominion over your thoughts, actions etc, being led by the Holy Spirit, that’s what gives you dominion.
You can spread the gospel without wealth, you can have power (God’s power) without wealth.
God used many people in the Bible, even rulers that did not have wealth.
Jesus himself did not have wealth and He spread the gospel.
Sorry but please don’t be fooled by wealth and dominion, it’s not what God wants for us.
Be blessed
